ᎣᏏᏲ (OsiYo) Hello, I’m Mark.
Let me be your leader as we walk around the Cherokee Medicine Wheel together.
I help folks like you, find the GREAT leader within themselves. This is a lifelong journey around and into the Medicine Wheel. In the Cherokee language we don’t label things, we describe them. One of the phrases that is often used to describe Leader is DiDaNiDoHi. This translates in English to “He takes them around holding them”.
My Approach
ᎦᏚᎩ (GaDuGi)
I believe in the power of ᎦᏚᎩ (GaDuGi) the fundamental Cherokee concept meaning "working together for the common good." You may think of it a collaboration. I have some stories I need to share with you. Most of these are ancient stories told by my ancestors beginning about 13,000 years ago. Some are new stories told to me while I was trying to learn what Leadership really is. You have stories you have been told. Together we will explore our stories and help you answer the questions within you. “What is authentic leadership in today’s chaos?”
We will visit and revisit the Cherokee Medicine Wheel Model of Leadership. Look into ourselves and find our inner medicine and strength. We will share each other’s stories and learn together.
Together we will journey around the Medicine Wheel
